Dear Friends,
I hope all is well with you and your family.
Two years ago, Covid-19 forced us to change our lifestyles. Businesses were shut down, people were laid off from their jobs, families struggled with every aspect of our daily lives, and death and illness afflicted so many New Yorkers. Unfortunately, we are still experiencing the devastating effects of Covid-19 on Staten Island. Many homeowners are behind on their mortgages and are at risk of losing their homes. It is on behalf of our vulnerable neighbors that Northfield Community LDC (Local Development Corporation) of Staten Island works.
From time to time we make an appeal for donations in support of the work we do. The funds raised are of great significance to our organization and enable us to continue our housing community work to aid Staten Island residents to navigate their housing needs or problems, avoid foreclosure, save on utilities, support businesses in need of assistance, and so much more. Currently, we are hosting a Stay at Home to Help a Home Fundraiser.
This event will enable you to support Northfield Community LDC’s work from the comfort of your home while aiding us in fulfilling our mission to improve the lives of Staten Islanders. Best of all, you will be contributing to our work in weatherization, energy conservation, housing counseling, senior services, and economic development.
Stay at Home to Help a Home Fundraiser sponsorship levels:
- Gold – $1,500
- Silver – $1000
- Bronze – $500
- Titanium – $250
