Exciting News! We Need Your Vote to Help Our Community Thrive!

We are honored and excited to announce that we have been chosen to participate in the special Target Circle Community Giving campaign, sponsored and funded by Target! This is an incredible opportunity for our organization, and you have the chance to help direct a portion of Target’s donation to us!

Now through December 31, 2025, your votes can help determine how Target’s donation will be divvied up among participating non-profits. Every vote counts to help us receive a vital portion of the available Target funds as we continue our mission to enhance the quality of life within the community through:

  • Development of affordable housing
  • Rehabilitation and improvement of the existing housing stock
  • Energy conservation improvements and testing for health and safety in buildings
  • Promotion of economic development
  • Support of home buyer and foreclosure prevention efforts
  • Senior Housing

Target Circle Community Program Campaign

What is the Target Circle Community Program?

The Target Circle Community Program is a feature of Target’s loyalty program, Target Circle. As a member, you earn one vote each time you shop. You can use these votes to support local nonprofits, selected based on your preferred store location. After the 90-day campaign, votes are tallied, and each nonprofit receives a grant percentage based on the percentage of votes they received.

How to Participate in the Target Circle Community Program

Sign Up for Target Circle:

  1. Become a Target Circle Member: f you’re not already a member, sign up for the free program at www.target.com/circle. You earn one vote with every qualifying Target purchase (in-store and online). However, the quickest way is to download and sign up through the Target Circle app on your phone.
  2. Set Your “My Target” Store:
    • How to change your “My Target” store:
      1. Open the Target Circle app.
      2. Tap “My Target” in the bottom right-hand corner.
      3. Scroll down to “My Store” and tap “Change.”
      4. Search using your local zip code and select a store. Special Note for Northfield Community LDC: You will need to select a Staten Island based store i.e. 10302
      5. On the store’s page, look below the phone number for “Set as my store” with a box. Tap the box, then use the back arrow (top left) to exit.

How to Cast Votes

  1. Open the Target Circle app.
  2. Tap “My Target” in the bottom right-hand corner.
  3. Tap the “Target Circle” header (it is located underneath the “Purchase History” header). Tip: You can also check how many votes you have collected here.
  4. Scroll down and tap Community support votes sub-header.
  5. This page displays all local nonprofits eligible for voting based on your set store.
  6. Select the number of votes you wish to cast and tap “Cast # votes.                                     

How to Get More Votes 

Simply shop at Target! Each qualifying Target trip earns you one vote. Remember to use available Target Circle offers to save money while you shop!
